Job Description

Our client has a blue chip reputation with multiple sites, within a fast paced food manufacturing environment.  They are a market leader producing branded and own-label household named food products. 

Due to an internal promotion the business is looking for a Head Of Operations, reporting into the Supply Chain Director who wants to progress their career with a growth product category.  My Client has a successful track record of career progression.

The role will be responsible for the operations & planning of multi-sites, together with associated Supply activities.

The role’s main areas of focus are

• Ensuring that the Health & Safety of our employees within Product Category Operations is of paramount importance.
• Leading a Business Improvement program for the Supply Chain.
• Leading the Supply S&OP cycle.
• Co-leading the strategy, tactical plan and P&L performance of the business, reporting the business performance into the board team.
• Ensuring operational alignment with the Commercial Teams, delivering operational solutions, which will delight the customer and consumer.
• Ultimately delivering a Best in Class supply chain appropriate for a commodity item.

The successful candidate with have extensive knowledge of Manufacturing, Supply chain and production planning processes together with previous experience of multi site management in an FMCG environment. The person will be able to think strategically, analysing issues and opportunities and act upon this work to make things happen. Finally, we are also looking for an individual that has a demonstrated ability to build relationships with people of all levels in the organisation and to use these relationships to deliver exceptional results.
